HCD (Principles of Healthy Child Development) is a 4-hour training that equips front-line leaders (camp counsellors, coaches, after-school staff, swim instructors, etc.) with the tools to enhance the quality of the programs they are leading.
PHCD 4-hour provides flexibility. With a 4-hour training, staff can complete the PHCD certification in a half-day, with additional modules available online for those that wish to further their professional development.
Training cost is $55+hst per person for members of Recreation PEI ($65+hst for non-members). There is a maximum of 25 participants per training, so be sure to register early.
